Dr. Inayati Nuraini Dwiputri, and Dr. Santi Merlinda, of Faculty of Economics and Business, of Universitas Negeri Malang (State University of Malang), Indonesia visited the Faculty of Economics, Saga University from 20th to 24th October 2024. The main purpose of the visit was to conduct a collaborative research titled “How important governance is in influencing the economy: a comparison of Indonesia and Japan” with Prof. Saliya De Silva of the Faculty of Economics. In addition, Dr. Inayathi made a presentation on “Asian Economic Development: Exploring the Linkages and Implications of Pandemic for Development” organized by the Saga University Economics Society on 21st October 2024. About 40 students (35 undergraduate students and 5 postgraduate students) participated in the seminar and there was lively Q&A session at the end. On 22nd Dr. Inayati and Dr. Santi made a courtesy visit to the Dean of Faculty of Economics, Saga University Professor Haneishi Hiroshi. Prof. Haneishi thanked them for the support given for the collaborative research, particularly for the Saga University Strategic PS Project with Malang State University, in which Dr. Inayati is a member. He expressed the importance of having student exchange between the universities. Dr. Inayati inquired about the possibility of academic staff exchange between the two universities. Both parties agreed to strengthen the research and education links between the two faculties in the future.

2024年10月20日から24日にかけて、インドネシア・マラン国立大学経済経営学部のイナヤティ・ヌライニ・ドウィプトリ博士とサンティ・メルリンダ博士が佐賀大学経済学部を訪問されました。

訪問の主な目的は、経済学部のサーリヤ・ディ・シルバ教授との共同研究「経済に影響を与えるガバナンスの重要性：インドネシアと日本の比較」であり、イナヤティ博士は「アジア経済発展」と題したプレゼンテーションを行いました。

また、10月21日には、佐賀大学経済学会主催の経済学会講演会にて「アジア経済発展：パンデミックの連関と開発への影響を探る」というテーマで発表を行いました。セミナーには約40名の学生（学部生35名、大学院生5名）が参加し、最後に活発な質疑応答が行われました。

10月22日には、イナヤティ博士とサンティ博士が佐賀大学経済学部の羽石寛志学部長を表敬訪問されました。羽石教授は、共同研究、特にイナヤティ博士がメンバーであるマラン国立大学との佐賀大学戦略的PSプロジェクトに対する支援に謝辞と両大学間の学生交流の重要性を述べ、イナヤティ氏から、両大学間の教職員交流の可能性について質問があったことにより、両者は今後、両学部間の研究・教育の連携を強化していくことで合意しました。
